Silent Witnesses

Silent Witnesses - What are they witnessing? What kind of stories are they trying to convey? The materials used in these sculptures give a somber feeling to the work. Yet the subtle gestures suggest that these figures are not about to give up. Instead they are moving, embarking on a journey. They are not frozen in time, they are letting the world know what they have witnessed.

The Silent Witnesses are created in burlap and wax; some are cast in bronze.
